Transworld star performer, the Mobile Eye, is an embedded hardware device that captures and processes data form a variety of sensors, both in-house and COTS, to move results of processed data to the cloud for Big Data analytics in near real time.
FleetView, Transworld’s online big data portal offers full function, real time fleet management on the cloud, with end-to-end visibility across the supply chain. FleetView integrates easily with standard ERPs like SAP or J. D. Edwards, in addition to the Indian household financial accounting package, Tally.
FleetView lets users monitor their fleet turnaround, destination wise ETAs, plan return loads as well as generate invoicing, purchase orders and manage expenses, by vehicle, driver, location or group. with more than 12,000 vehicle units delivered, the portal handles more than 1 million data records per day and has provided road safety systems for big brand companies like ACC Holcim, Castrol, BP, PraxAir, Linde, Unilever, Shell, Agility and lots of other safety and efficiency conscious majors.

Approx. Package: Rs. 2,16,000/- Per Annum(Based on Interview).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Gather and analyze business requirements to design effective data dashboards and reporting solutions.
  2. Define, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as shipment performance, driver alerts, and device health.
  3. Design and maintain datasets in Apache Superset for accurate and scalable analytics.
  4. Write, test, and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and dashboard development.
  5. Validate data accuracy by comparing dashboard outputs with raw MySQL database records.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve data issues including joins, GroupBy errors, and missing values.
  7. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards for operational and client-specific use cases.
  8. Create visualizations including KPI cards, line charts, bar charts, heatmaps, and drill-down tables.
  9. Enhance dashboard usability through filters, layout optimization, and intuitive design.
  10. Apply CSS customizations and branding elements to improve dashboard UI.
  11. Optimize dashboard performance to ensure efficient loading and responsiveness.
  12. Implement cross-filtering and interactivity across multiple dashboard components.
  13. Develop automation workflows using Python, Node-RED, and Telegram Bot API.
  14. Manage user roles, permissions, and access control in Apache Superset.
  15. Deliver reports, conduct client demos, and resolve data discrepancies based on stakeholder feedback.

Skills Required:

  1. Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, query optimization)
  2. Experience with Apache Superset for dashboard development
  3. Knowledge of MySQL for data extraction and validation
  4. Hands-on experience with Grafana
  5. Programming skills in Python
  6. Familiarity with Node-RED for workflow automation
  7. Experience with Telegram Bot API for alerting systems
  8. Understanding of Amazon Web Services for infrastructure management
  9. Strong data validation and data quality assurance skills
  10. Expertise in KPI definition and business metrics analysis
  11. Dashboard design, data visualization, and storytelling skills
  12. Ability to optimize dashboards for performance and usability
  13. Knowledge of CSS for dashboard UI customization
  14. Problem-solving and analytical thinking ability
  15. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
